History buffs can visit LA Maison Beausoleil Museum, a Cajun architectural style home authentically restored to its 1810 appearence by LES ACADIENS DU TEXAS, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the culture and language of the Acadian people.
The museum complex is open on Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.
