One of the biggest draws in Port Neches is the four-day Riverfest held in May. Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, this festival, held at Port Neches Park, is a fun-filled family event. The main attraction is the “Thunder on the Neches” tunnel boat races featuring more than 25 racing tunnel boats from three classes that reach speeds up to 120 miles per hour.
